Thankyou for your very kind comments! ,I removed the stock kit ladders that were straight and incorrect.I made my own from some extra stock that I had hanging around.These proved to be quite the challenge.I know"Geez Walt,they are only ladders"but the ladders are curved.It took alot of eyeballing to get the steps to the proper angle.The two nights later and third set turned out to be the only ones that looked half way decent.Cheers friends Walter.........Hola, Gracias para tus mismo comentarios de la clase
quité las escalas comunes del kit que eran rectas e incorrectas. Hice mis los propios de alguna acción adicional que tenía colgante alrededor. Éstos demostraron ser absolutamente el desafío. Know" I; Geez Walt, son solamente ladders" pero se curvan las escalas. Tomó mucho calcular visualmente para conseguir los pasos al ángulo apropiado. Las dos noches más adelante y el tercer sistema resultaron ser las únicas que miraban la media manera decente. Anima a amigos Walter

Hello.Today I tested a sample of what the red paint would look like weathered.The red paint was just too new and bright and did not match the rest of the weathered parts of the ship.I tried using a mixture of acrylic paints but I think that I may have thinned it too much Some spots had a tendency to alligate. I ended up using a mixture of enamel paint 1 part black to two parts light gray thinned down quite abit.I painted it over the red one section at a time letting it set for one minute then wiping it away.Im very pleased with the results.The photo is abit deceiving looking abit shiney.I think this was do to the flash.I may seal it with a light coat of dullcoat.Cheers Walter ...........Probé hoy una muestra de lo que parecería la pintura roja resistido. La pintura roja era apenas demasiado nueva y brillante y no emparejó el resto de las piezas resistidas de la nave. Intenté usar una mezcla de pinturas de acrílico pero pienso que pude haber enrarecidola demasiada algunos puntos tenía una tendencia al alligate. Terminé encima de usar una mezcla de pintura del esmalte 1 porción de negro a dos porciones gris claro enrarecido abajo absolutamente de abit. Lo pinté sobre la una sección roja a la vez que lo dejaba fijar para un minuto entonces que lo limpiaba lejos. Im muy contento con los resultados. La foto es abit que engaña mirando shiney del abit. Pienso que era esto hace al flash. Puedo sellarlo con una capa ligera del dullcoat. Aclamaciones

Hola Walter, tu Vasa esta muy bien,creo que has encontrado un rojo bonito, y la combinacion de madera, negro y rojo esta fenomenal.

Hello Jesus,papemodel and Guillermo.Many Thanks for your kind comments.Pepemodel,the model is 1/60 scale when complete 118 cm in length.Im going to build my own display case but because of the size,im sure it will be pretty expencive.I have started to add the sculptures around the aft door areas as well as the wreaths for the round cannon ports.I just bought a new computer because my other computer blew up :x .So I lost the photo showing my latest progress .I will post some new photos soon.Cheers friends,Walter...........Hola Jesús, papemodel y Guillermo. Muchas gracias para sus comentarios amables. Pepemodel, el modelo es la escala de 1/60 cuando 118 cm completo en la longitud. Im que va a construir mi propia vitrina pero debido al tamaño, im seguro esto será expencive bonito. He comenzado a añadir las esculturas alrededor de las áreas de puerta de popa así como las coronas para los puertos de cañón redondos. Sólo compré una nueva computadora porque mi otra computadora explotó:x .So perdí la foto mostrando a mi último progreso: (.I fijará algunas nuevas fotos pronto. Amigos de aclamaciones, Walter
