I don't know about the United States, but in Spain it's considered good manners, especially if you're going to ask for something, to at least introduce yourself properly, even if it's in English, which isn't the language of this Spanish forum. But I'll let that slide. You should at least tell us something about yourself, show some of your work, and then, if you're ready... ask. Your first message only said you were looking for information, and that's not exactly a great introduction.
Greetings and shavings.
I don't know how it is in the States, but in Spain—especially when you're asking for something—it's considered good manners to at least introduce yourself properly. Even doing so in English (which isn't the standard language for this Spanish-speaking forum—although I'll let that slide) would be better than nothing; the least you could do is share a bit about yourself or show some of your work before making a request. Your first post just said you were looking for information, and that's not exactly the best way to introduce yourself.
Best regards
